Local council communications strategy change for 2017

Local councils have a new weapon in their armoury to get across that information to their residents and council tax payers, in place of leaflets delivered through the door or the expensive snail mail a number of councils have decided that retractable banner stands place at public points of interest, are far more pleasing and effective way to communicate council messages to the general public.

A number of local boroughs including Newham Council have decided to use this communication strategy as an effective marketing vehicle to communicate to the public. Newham Council in particular chosen company called just displays Ltd based in Enfield in Middlesex to produce their banners on a contract basis.

Number of other councils have decided to use banners, sail banners and even resort to advertising on the side of London buses to gain attention to the information they are trying to give out.
